As it so happens, I was planning on doing my monthly post on my trip to Boston and my BOSS experience before the events of yesterday played out. Now, more than ever, I think it is appropriate to show our love and support to those affected by the horrors of that day. So I’ll save my BOSS-related ramblings for another time and keep this post short and sweet.
To honor our Beantown brethren, I thought I’d highlight some of Boston’s best and brightest. If you’ve never been to Boston it is a city with it’s own character. A character embodied by its citizens and by their a cappella groups (of which there are many).
Here are just a few of my favorites.
Ball in the House performing a song from the movie Once.
2013 CARA winners and Harmony Sweepstakes Finalists Fermata Town performing a Britney Spears tune (better than she did) at the recent BOSS festival.
The original rock vocal band, Five O’clock Shadow performing a classic Doobie Brothers tune.
Long Train Running
Three members of Overboard performing a song from the 90s era version of The Three Musketeers. The original version featured Sting, Bryan Adams, and Rod Stewart.
